  • I am home from Viking Convention in San Antonio!  The convention was wonderful!  The NEW Designer Diamond is definitely a jewel.  **Check the “Photo Gallery” for a few snapshots.      Click on any photo to enlarge.

  • We will host an introduction party on Monday, July 7th.  Linda Van Winkle, from Husqvarna-Viking will WOW you with the 50 new features on the Diamond!  The program will be at the Best Western meeting room at 2pm and again at 6pm.  There is no obligation to purchase, but of course if you’re interested in one of these Diamonds there will be special deals available to those that attend!   • Pat Knoechel from “Quilt in a Day” lecture-demo was a huge event!  There were over 100 in attendance!  There are several photos in the ” Gallery”.
  • “Stars over Indiana” Shop Hop starts July 11 through the 19th.  When you purchase the 2008 collector’s pin the passport is included.  Shops included this year are: The Quilt Shop in Anderson, Kaleidoscope Quilting in Batesville, Zig-Zag Corner in Greenfield, The Back Door in Greenwood, Quilt Bug in Lawrenceburg, Pohlar Fabrics between Liberty and Brookville, In Stitches in Rushville, The Rivers Edge Fabrics Company in Shelbyville and the Stitching Nook on the east side of Richmond.
  • Christmas In July weekend will be July 24, 25, and 26.  there will be lots of new and different ideas for decorating and gift giving.  More details to follow!

Quilting News

There are new Christmas fabrics arriving almost daily!  We have started working on projects, and we hope you’ll like our NEW ideas.  Christmas this year is lime green, aqua, royal blue and hot pink–really different, but I must admit I do like it!
